Marmaduke Stevenson and William Robinson are executed.

October 27, 1659

[10/20-WPA] They are the first Quakers executed in Boston (out of four), they are hanged on Boston Common. A third Quaker, Mary Dyer, is sentenced to be executed, but spared at the urging of her son. She is subsequently escorted out of Massachusetts and warned not to return, but does in 1660.*
